The small, rugged, Platinum Sound Processor™ (PSP) is the only body worn processor capable of running HiResolution Sound. The headpiece includes the microphone so nothing is worn on the ear.

	Advantages for Adults The PSP offers unique advantages for some adults. In particular, recipients who are elderly, have visual problems, or have poor manual dexterity may benefit from the PSP’s large, tactile controls. Additionally, some adults feel stigmatised by hearing aids (and ear-level cochlear implant processors) and wish to wear as little on the ear as possible. A range of carrying cases has been specially designed to wear the PSP on a belt.
