CLINICAL/APPLICATION ENGINEER

Advanced Bionics is a leading manufacturer of implantable neuro-modulation systems, such as cochlear implant prostheses to restore hearing to the deaf. With worldwide headquarters in California and European headquarters near Mulhouse, the European branch is recruiting several positions. In particular we are looking for a graduate Clinical / Application Engineer for our German speaking area.

You will be ideally based near Hanover.
Reporting to the Country Manager (Germany, German speaking Switzerland and Austria), you will support our patients and centers in the usability and daily life issues of our products to maximize their benefit. You will increase the share of decisions for our products amongst the patients and rehabilitation centers and support key centers and their patients in terms of getting upgrades and the use of the cochlear implant. To achieve this you perform fittings and diagnostic measurements on your own.

This position requires candidates to have a bachelor degree in engineering or a profound background in the hearing aid industry as an acoustician. You exhibit excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills to include a working knowledge of Power Point software applications. You will typically work from our office in Hanover and you must be able to travel up to 50% (with some overnight and weekend commitments). Additionally, organizational and prioritization skills, versatility to different customers personalities and ability to work in a team are required to succeed in a such position. We are offering an attractive compensation package.
